What is huey and riley parents?

Huey and Riley Freeman are fictional characters from the animated television series "The Boondocks." They are brothers and their parents are Robert Freeman and their unnamed mother.

Robert Freeman is their legal guardian and grandfather who takes them in after their parents abandon them. He is a strict disciplinarian and traditionalist who often clashes with Huey's radical political views and Riley's affinity for gangster culture.

There is very little information about the boys' mother, other than the fact that she abandoned them when they were young. She is not shown or mentioned in the series and her absence is a major theme in the boys' lives and their relationships with their grandmother, Uncle Ruckus, and Robert Freeman.
